Anne-Marie Singer, AIA

Anne-Marie Singer is a registered architect and founder of AM Singer Design, an architecture studio with a focus on residential design. After bouncing between California and New York for 27 years Anne-Marie was happy to land back in Santa Barbara in 2019.

Driven by the notion that architecture has a unique physical relationship with life, Anne-Marie views her work as an opportunity to put form to the material and immaterial constructs upon which life unfolds. She works closely with clients to translate their needs into spaces that create balance with and connect their owners to their lifestyle. Often working within the framework of historic brownstones and apartment buildings in NYC, Anne-Marie’s work stays faithful to the local language of a place by calibrating a minimalist aesthetic and a restrained approach to intervention. To that end, Anne-Marie is excited to expand her practice in California.
